While visiting New York City recently, I ran across this Beautiful young woman outside the Macy’s store on 34th – across from Penn Station.

I wish I had taken this photo. I came across this while going through some old family shots with my Step-Mom. Uncle Joe was the proprietor of the family Marina in St. Jean Quebec.

Sadly I never met him. He made an immense impression on my Dad who took this photo during the 1980s. The shot was taken with his trusty Leica M3. I did my best to restore it. Not perfect. But very presentable.

First things first. I really don’t make a habit of writing on this Blog. It’s more about me showcasing my photos (more on that later).
I just spent 2 excellent (long, tiring, taxing, stimulating, educational, stressful…) days with some of the most amazing Street Photographers one could hope to meet. Leading the charge was the effervescent LA based street photography guru, Mr. Eric Kim.

Old Montreal @ Summer of 2011. With all of the awesome opportunities, this violinist chose a poorly travelled alleyway. He was actually quite good.
